Description
Sweet, awkward sixteen-year-old Ruby Gillman struggles to fit in at Oceanside High, but when she indulges in a little teenage rebellion by breaking her overprotective mother's #1 rule -- never go in the water -- she discovers that she's descended from a line of kraken Warrior Queens. As next in line for the throne, Ruby has a lot to learn, but the lessons may prove too tough when she discovers the krakens became warriors to protect the seas from evil mermaids, and the queen bee at Oceanside just happens to be one.
